Abstract
With Contextualiser le Répertoire Visuel Rétro dans L’espace Néo-numérique - Comprendre la Pratique, we consider an exhibit of two decades of personal and professional visual works (first made with analogue method and followed by digital re-creation for both web and prints), curated upon personal belief system that ‘avant-gardeness’ needed to be embedded for future generation. It is always obligatory to find answers of the possible inquest in the meaningful process of the raising democratic aesthetics. The archaic art forms that were fast reducing during the early 2000’s, getting hovered by the icon-thumbnail culture in this democratisation process as demanded by web visual culture, yet a personal choice of taking care of the “old-school-art” never ceased to proclaim the “originality” of the pure delight that continued to be juxtaposed with new age digital cohorts. This humane visual-culture must be sewn into the flickering digital space in the light of this socio-economic environment as well in respect to the history of creativity and aesthetics. This study features the exhibition on how does the “old-school-art” forms secure its position, remaining unimpeded beside the encounters with AI-enabled platforms.
