Abstract
As educators navigate the evolving landscape of adult learning—from basic education to workplace training and professional development—their mental well-being remains critical to their effectiveness and overall job satisfaction. This session explores the intersection of wellness, mental health, and adult learning by addressing educators’ unique challenges, including stress, burnout, emotional labor, and the demands of continuous professional development. The presentation highlights evidence-based wellness and mental health strategies tailored for educators, emphasizing wellness, burnout prevention, and stress management techniques. It also discusses the role of organizational culture and support in fostering a culture of well-being and offers practical recommendations for integrating mental health training into in-service and professional development programs. Institutions can enhance teaching effectiveness, learner engagement, and workplace satisfaction by prioritizing educators’ mental well-being. This study offers actionable tools to promote sustainable well-being practices within educational, professional development, and training environments.
