Abstract
This study explores the intersection between artistic education and identity construction within the context of professional training, particularly in the field of care for dependent individuals and social inclusion. The research analyzes how artistic interventions, especially performative ones, contribute to the development of transversal and emotional competences that cannot be acquired solely through cognitive learning. Additionally, the study examines how the creation of symbolic spaces in educational settings facilitates the recognition of diversity and the construction of an inclusive collective identity. A qualitative methodology was employed, combining phenomenological analysis and interdisciplinary approaches. The study involves a literature review, an artistic intervention based on body performance and the use of symbolic objects, data collection through in-depth interviews and participatory observation, and a thorough analysis of participants’ narratives. The findings highlight the significant role of art in fostering empathy, personalized care, and a deeper understanding of corporeality, while also emphasizing the importance of symbolic spaces for identity construction in inclusive educational communities. These results suggest that a holistic educational approach, which integrates cognitive, emotional, and symbolic elements through artistic practices, enriches the learning process and contributes to the integral development of individuals and the cohesion of educational communities.
