Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool with the potential to transform various aspects of education and rehabilitation, particularly in promoting inclusivity and addressing the diverse needs of learners with disabilities. This paper explores the opportunities and considerations associated with harnessing AI for inclusive education and rehabilitation. It examines the potential benefits of AI in enhancing accessibility, personalization, and support for learners with disabilities, while also highlighting ethical, privacy, and equity considerations that must be addressed to ensure the responsible and equitable use of AI technologies. Through a balanced exploration of opportunities and considerations, this study informs policymakers, educators, and practitioners about the potential of AI to advance inclusive education and rehabilitation, while also emphasizing the importance of ethical guidelines and safeguards. Harnessing AI for inclusive education and rehabilitation presents exciting opportunities to enhance accessibility, personalization, and support for individuals with disabilities. By leveraging AI technologies responsibly and ethically, policymakers, educators, and practitioners can create more inclusive and equitable learning environments and rehabilitation programs. However, it is imperative to address ethical, privacy, and equity considerations to ensure that AI benefits are realized by all individuals, regardless of their abilities or backgrounds. Through collaborative efforts and a commitment to human-centered design, AI has the potential to be a powerful force for positive change in promoting inclusivity and empowerment in education and rehabilitation.
