Abstract
Music creation has traditionally been a complex process requiring technical expertise, expensive tools, and years of training. However, advancements in artificial intelligence and user-centric design are transforming this landscape, enabling anyone to generate professional-quality music effortlessly. This study explores how design thinking principles shape the development of AI-powered music creation tools like Soundverse, making music composition intuitive and accessible. Key topics include the role of minimalist interfaces, conversational AI, and gamification in engaging users across skill levels. By drawing parallels with consumer applications like Spotify and TikTok, we discuss how AI-driven design fosters creativity and lowers barriers to entry. We also address the challenges of balancing automation with artistic control, ensuring AI acts as a co-creator rather than replacing human musicians. Through real-world examples, we showcase how iterative product design, user feedback, and personalization improve AI music tools. Finally, we explore the ethical implications and future potential of AI in music education, collaboration, and sound design. Attendees will gain insights into the intersection of design, AI, and creativity—envisioning a future where music creation is democratized for all.
