A Study on the Application and Efficacy of Motion Graphics in Youth Drug Abuse Prevention Programs

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of motion graphic (MG) materials on young people’s knowledge of drug abuse. The results revealed that participants demonstrated a significant improvement in their knowledge of drug abuse, identification of emerging drugs, and strategies for resisting drug use, as indicated by paired samples t-tests (p < .05). These findings suggest that motion graphic (MG) materials can effectively enhance the knowledge of drug abuse among young adults aged 18-24 (65.0%) and 25-29 (30.5%), contributing to the prevention of drug abuse. Future research should continue to promote the use of such materials and address specific knowledge gaps to achieve a more comprehensive drug prevention education.
