Abstract
It is widely acknowledged that the design of a product plays a pivotal role in determining its success or failure in this field. In the field of industrial design, the product design process is not solely constrained by physical conditions, such as material properties, structural strength, or production limitations. In addition to the aforementioned considerations, the design process is also influenced by numerous factors, both known and unknown. One such factor is culture, which affects the manner in which users respond to the product. Furthermore, the designer’s own cultural background, aesthetic preferences, emotions, and other non-physical aspects must be taken into account. It is therefore evident that any product design activity must include an understanding of culture. In order to comprehend the relationship between culture, the designer, the user, and the product itself, modern product design must also consider the concept of sustainability and, in particular, the connection between culture and sustainability. In this regard, there is also a great deal of discussion surrounding the concept of UX (user experience) design, which is also addressed in this paper.
