Abstract
This session focuses on Swiss design (often called as international typographic style), uncovering its enduring principles and practical applications. We consider its clarity, precision, and functionality revolutionize graphic design. I present the core concepts, historical significance and contemporary relevance of Swiss design. The workshop covers principles like less is more, grid systems, typography, functionality and font-size contrast. I present this topic because I believe that it’s not just a design style, but a philosophy that can transform the way we approach graphic design in the contemporary world.
